Bishop Elect, Ugochukwu Nwosu, of Unique Grace Ministry, Mbara Umuwaya, Amuzukwu has said that 2023 general elections is another opportunity God has offered Nigerians to redeem their individual and collective destinies, from dare devil leaders who have held the country in bondage for too long, with intention to reposition Nigeria on the path of greatness. He stated this in a message he titled “Moment of Decision” delivered to his Church members in Umuahia, adding that this is the time to confront Vampire leaders in government headlong, because they don’t deserve to occupy the offices they are occupying, which has made them to be making life difficult for the masses. He said that as human beings, Nigerians and Abian have cogent reasons to be despondent and heart-broken in the country and state that have lowered their slandered of life to that of animals.“It has been tales by moonlight; stories that break the heart of humanity, if it is not Boko Haram slaughtering people like rams, it will be kidnapers on rampage, kidnapping and demanding un-affordable ransoms from their helpless victims. But the big thieves are some government officials who collaborate with their cronies within and outside government to milk our country and states dry and sell off our destines upfront”.Bishop Nwosu decried that at the grassroots are “bitter experiences of endless sufferings, bad roads and harvest of untimely deaths, caused either by chronic diseases or hunger and starvation.“There are also no employment opportunities for the teeming graduates who have become objects of ridicule before the world, and are therefore compelled to find a safe haven in crimes in order to survive the hardships”.He lamented over unpaid/embezzled workers salaries and pensions, stating that it has left the workers in penury. “There is brain drain as the best intellectuals are leaving the shores of Nigeria in search of greener pastures. Everywhere you go, lamentations of hunger, bad roads, unpaid salaries, pensions, unfulfilled vision and truncated dreams rent the air”.He explained that this is the result of the past costly mistakes Nigerians made by voting in government of the vampires into office, which brought bleak future that shows that the nation is unjustifiably undermined. He called on the electorates not to allow the history of the past to repeat itself, wondering if the masses are going to surrender to the whims and caprices of another bad government that is reminiscent of that of Saul without a fight?“He urged the electorate not to allow vampires tighten their noses and gradually suffocate them to death.“It is time for us, the survivors of these heinous crimes against humanity to rise and make a categorical statement that “our lives matter. It is time to remove the stigma of “weary pilgrims trudging this world”, Bishop Nwosu emphasized. He said that for the fact that Nigerians are not weary pilgrims, they should refuse untimely death, “for we are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. If God made us in his own image and likeness and gave us freewill, a will to choose right from wrong, then we must have the power to exercise that freewill and have the discerning spirit to differentiate between bad government and good Government”, submitted.“It is a will so freely given that we can freely use to purge ourselves of contempt of foolhardiness. This is another opportunity that is being offered to us to redeem our destinies from these dare devils and reposition our country on the path of greatness. It is time to confront headlong this government of vampires who occupy office they don’t deserve”.“Remember, it is the vision of God that our lives should be as sweet as milk and honey but the ‘ crazy bald-heads” are determined to stop this divine purpose. A man who cherishes his freedom does not vote a mediocre into power as Governor or president, he advised. END
