The Senator representing Abia South in the Senate, Enyinnaya Hacourt Abaribe has extolled the virtues of Abia based Investor, for shunning the trending Hotel business in Abia , to invest in knowledge.
He was speaking while performing the opening ceremony of an Abia based citadel of learning, Danijoy International Schools, built by the Member representing Umuaha East State Constituency, Hon Chukwudi Apugo.
Appraising the investment before commissioning, Abaribe said that what investors come to do in Abia is to build Hotels, for quickly returns, but this investor had a different idea altogether.
“When we were driving into the street, and they said that this is a school, I said to myself, Oh my God, this is a wonderful thing to do. Usually what investors come to Abia to do is to build Hotels, the fact that you left the trend to venture into the field of knowledge speaks volumes your plans for Abia children. The Bible says that you should train a child the way he should go because when he grows up, he will not depart from It”.
He commended Apugo for his ideas, stating that “there is no substitute to knowledge, because it is education that brought me to the position and level I find myself today.
“I want to wish you well on everything you want in this world. If this school is planted in Abuja, I know how much the charges would be, but you built it here in the capital city of Unuahia. It is one of the projects people see in a capital city that makes it capital. You have done very well by investing here , and investing in knowledge too.”
He prayed that all the children that would pass through that school would become good citizens of the country . who would be useful to their families and blessing to their father land.
