The state Organizing Secretary-elect, in Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s led All Progressive Congress, APC, in Abia state, Hon Prince Ikedi Ezekwesili has said that the crack in the party would be cemented in a couple of weeks to make the party one indivisible entity that will operate from one front.
He disclosed this while reacting to the issues of the crises rocking the party in the state , which has splinted it into factions in the state.
He explained that already, all major stakeholders, who are led by Senator kalu as their leader, are now stretching out to buy members back, to where they need to be, and woo fresh ones into the party to enable the party embark on the rescue activities that will give Abians their lost freedom .
“We need everybody to join the main stream and join hands to work together and rescue Abia from the bands of PDP monsters that have eaten us to the crawling point.
The doors of the party is wide open to receive whoever want to join in this rescue mission, including those from the other side”.
He explained that the national leadership of the party, haven realized the volume of the mistakes made by creating unnecessary parallel structures in the state has instituted a very high powered committee for the South East ,led by His Excellency, “Senator Ken Nmanani to look into these issues with intention to resolve these it for every other person to come together to look at what is visible and expedient to be done to get the party together and stronger to be able to rescue Abia from the bands of the PDP monsters.
“What I am telling you now is what I think, what I would like and what I will strive to do, when sworn in as State organizing secretary of the party in Abia APC, our goal is to stretch out right left, front and back, as a party to achieve the target which members have set to achieve.
“We have our friends everywhere, even the PDP people are crying and mourning, dying out of hunger . Wherever you meet them, they will tell you, oh! who will bail the cart”, the APC Chieftain said.
He said that Abians are in a situation where almost the major players are starving to death in PDP in Abia.
“Every body is crying, it is no longer a battle of APC vs PDP, but Abians vs PDP, that is where we are heading to in the weeks ahead”, Ezekwesili said.
He stated that the APC members who are worried today have genuine and justified reasons to be, “but I want to tell them to embolden up, summon courage and get inspired because what is causing their worry is receiving attention and in a matter of weeks, there is going to be a cementing of the cracks and there will be a bonding that will provide unity of purpose upon which we will try to galvanize Abians to do the needful, to rescue themselves from this misrule that PDP has become”, he assured.
He expressed confident that “the cracks in APC will be sealed and we will become bonded and then we will be stronger and push collectively, and Abians and Abia will triumph”. END
