Th All Progressive Congress Governorship Candidate for Abia state, High Chief Ikechi Emenike has decried the deplorable condition of Aba and her residents, urging them to use this period of election to free themselves from man made slavery which the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Government has created for them. He gave this advice at Hills Hotels, Aba, while addressing a mammoth crowd, comprising of traditional rulers, residents and members of Association of Old Bende people living in Aba, as well as party faithful. The crowd had gathered at the venue to receive the APC flag bearer during his tour of the city to interact and share knowledge with the electorate on the way forward for Abia in the forth-coming elections in the state..He explained that he had gone gone round the city and state and observed that many are crying, others are weeping, while still others are languishing in poverty, complaining over their predicament without any hope of when their condition will become normal. “Anywhere you go, people are crying, complaining, and languishing in poverty and deprivation, imposed on you by your fellow human beings whom you voted into power few years back, but today, the opportunity to free yourselves from the shackles of wickedness is starring you in the face”, Emenike stated.
He urged them that the time has now come for them to shake off the shackles of sufferings entrusted on them by wicked selfish leaders in the state, who only think of themselves and members of their family. “Therefore, it is time for all Abia electorates to rise up and say that enough is enough, and the only way you can do this is by voting for the right Candidates in the right party, and APC is that party and I, High Chief Emenike, I am that candidate , I have resolved to rescue and Develop Abia whether they like it or not”, he stated.
He explained that Aba is a unique city where people in business from all over the world can always get what they want, Urging them to rise on this electioneering occasion and vote in a Candidate that shares in their pains and vote out those that have been exploiting them for so long. “I urge you not to vote for those who have held Abia down all these years, vote for me and other APC Candidates because I have come to change the narratives”. He reminded them that all those who destroyed Abia have come out again, scouting for their votes, in order to continue in their atrocious acts, “don’t vote for them if you want to be free from their bondage, “vote for me because because I will change your story positively. Vote in a Government that will be in partnership with you to make Abia good for everyone, not for few that have been holding down the destinies of the people in the state.”He decried a situation where workers work in a state and do not get paid, pensioners languish in poverty as a result of refusal by people in power to pay their pensions, I urge you to use your votes and that of their friends and enemies to support a noble course that will be beneficial to all. “I will create a new Abia within a short period of time and make life worth living for those who live in it”, he promised.
