Women who trouped out to the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia on Tuesday to catch glimpse of a young mother, who was delivered of a set of quintuplets have lauded the gesture of High Chief Ikechi Emenike, the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Abia State, who immediately, on hearing the news rushed to donate items for the upkeep of the mother and her children.

Emenike had rushed to the Center, on hearing the good news, and donated cash gifts, baby food, beverages diapers and other items for the upkeep of the set of quintuplets that were delivered, by the young mother, a student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture , Umudike.
The women expressed joy that the Governorship hopeful has shown that his administration will leave no stone un-turned in taking good care of Abia mothers once he takes over the seat of power in 2023.
The young mother, Oluomachi Nwojo, a final year student of the University was delivered of a set of quintuplets through caesarean on Tuesday, at the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
The gesture, according to passerby who heard the news has clearly shown Abians what to expect when the APC candidate takes over power to pilot the affairs of the state from 2023.

Emenike said, while handing over the gifts that he could not wait to visit the babies and their young mother when he heard “the heartwarming news, and expressed gratitude to God for safe delivery, which he described as an indication of better days to come.
He was represented by the Director General of his Campaign, High Chief Uche Ogboso, who also encouraged the young mother to be patient in caring for the children as a young mother.
Responding to the gesture, father of of the young mother, Mr Nwojo expressed appreciation to all who have either called, visited or made donations to the family.
He called for more assistance , stating that maintaining five babies and their young mother is not an easy task. END
