He was speaking in his Country home Umuawa Alaocha, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia state , at the occasion of handing over various working tools, equipment and cash to over 30 beneficiaries from the 27 Communities in Ohuhu to enable them function properly in their individual trades and calling.
He said that he once had a conversation with the party boss, whom he described as his mentor, and that he told him that the best thing anyone can do for another is to empower the person, not minding whether the person will remember it or not.
“I observed High Chief Emenike do this severally, even to those who later betrayed him, and when his attention was called to the attitude of such people, he would tell you to forget it , that every good thing you do to your fellow man is done because of God.
“It was from him that I learnt what I am doing today, empowering people so that they can be self-reliant, he stated.
“He taught me that there is great reward in empowering and touching the lives of others positively, which no man, but only God can pay back, and that one should do the best he can to help others in their own little ways, the Youth Leader explained.
“He is my mentor politically, spiritually and other wise as well as the a strongest motivating factor to me both in the past and present, So it was from him that I learnt how to empower people from my own little resources.

He prayed to God open the inner eyes of people to see and know the type of man the APC Governorship candidate is, stating, “ I have been with him for a very long time, and as a man, if he had been a bad person, I would have known and would have left him since, but I found him very transparent, and one filled with milk of human kindness.
“If he make a promise, just go to sleep because his promises are as good as having been fulfilled, as he will surely do it as long as you keep faith with him, because he doesn’t associate with people who do not know God”.
He prayed that God should open the inner eyes of Abia citizens to see and know the type of man High Chief Ikechi Emenike is, for them to appreciate him, stating that he has been with him for a very long time, and as a man, if he had been a bad person, he would have known and left him.
“Secondly, he doesn’t associate with people that does not know God, those who have come close to him know this about him and that is the reason why they will conduct themselves in a manner that will enable them function properly with him at all times”, he explained.
Reacting to the success of the empowerment, the Youth Leader expressed joy that the project, was scarring initially because did not plan to make it laudable, but when I told friends what I wanted to do, they encouraged and advised me to upgrade it and I did.
“Today, I don’t have any regret doing it, I have also decided to do a second and third batches, targeting to empower about 100 people before the end of the year, and by next year, I will also select and empower more people .
“I have a committee that is responsible for this and they are doing great work , and some people who observed and appreciated what I am doing have come in to buy into the project by donating funds for it to continue. One of them is Comrade Chibuike Emmanuel, alias Ecomogu, who is the president of Niger Delta Youths.
“What we are doing is the best way of touching people’s lives , you don’t wait until somebody dies before you give his family money to bury the person, give the person the money so that he will take good care of himself and his family members”.
Reacting on why he support Anyalewechi’s projects, Comrade Emmanuel, who instantly redeemed his promise of supporting the project commended him for the step he has taken to assist others.
