She died on Wednesday after a protracted illness, a source disclosed to Sunnews Times in Calabar.
As a representative of her constituency, Ironbar is known for her Cross River State Disability Commission bill.
She is also the second member of the ninth Assembly who died while in office.
Described as a very tough woman who could not be easily swayed by her political foes and friends, She had represented her constituency since 2015 .
She was said to have refused to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the defection of the state governor, Ben Ayade to the latter party as some other people did.
The first rep. member who died while in office was Mr. Godwin Akwaji, a member of the PDP who represented Obudu constituency.
He died in June 2020. END
