The Abia state Chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu has urged all Lovers of the party in the state to go ahead, more determined now in mobilizing for victory of the party come 2023.He said that whatever they are noticing about the party in the state is nothing but a distraction, which will fade away with time.He thus advised intelligent Abians to take a deep look into what is happening and ask the obvious question on who is playing the music which Dr Sampson Uche Ogah is dancing.He said that the reason why he is urging them to ask the question is because Ogah has danced this kind of dance in the past, and it did not produce fruitful result to him, “this time round, who is playing the latest music he is dancing”?.“I am saying so because, before I emerged as the State Chairman of APC, there were pillars of the then faction backing Ogah, and today, they have all seen the need to join hands with me and High Chief Ikechi Emenike in our efforts to rescue the state from the clutches of misrule”. He explained that people like Senator Chris Adighije, Donatus Nwankpa, Emeka Nwogu, Emeka Atuma, Sir Mark Nwagbara, Lieutenant General Ihejirika, Major General Okoro, Major General Chinedum, Major General Nnorom, Major General Nwogbo, Alex Oti, Acho Obioma and many others were in the same faction with him.“And as we speak to day, all these names that I have mentioned have seen the big picture and the need to liberate Abia, and have come to joined hands together with me, working with me, and we are going to their places , to town hall meetings, except Alex Oti and Acho Obioma who have gone to another party. So If all these people, who used to be with Ogah are now with us, who is now singing these song that Ogah is dancing”, Ononogbu retorted.“Could it be PDP or any other person that is out of character, Senator Adighije was their then leader and if they have left Ogah, who is singing the song that he is dancing, Abians need to find out, Ononogbu asked, bewildered.He explained further that as the party is preparing for election, the best approach is for all hands to be in deck, to ensure that the party clinches victory come 2023, but if some people are at this time behaving otherwise, it now becomes clear that they are distracting the party from the serious business of winning the election, and such attitudes are tantamount to anti party activity that can be looked into by the party at the appropriate time.“This is the time members and supporters of APC should double their efforts because the same forces of darkness that have held the state bound, want to truncate the party from where we have already gotten to, and they should not be allowed to do that”, he advised.He said that APC is determined to rescue and develop Abia for the benefit of Abians and to the glory of God, advising that Abians should not be discouraged by anything arising from the distractions they are noticing from any angle.“We are unshaken and determined and will in few days time officially throw open the big APC office at Azikiwe, which is now the Campaign office of High Chief Ikechi Emenike, Ononogbu disclosed.He said that the only Candidate the party he is chairing in the state produced is High Chief Ikechi Emenike, and that any other candidate laying claim to the party’s Governorship candidacy should look for the Chairman that produced him.“As far as I remain the authentic Chairman of the party in the state, I don’t want to speak on tat matter because it is a distraction” Ononogbu said.
