The Victorious All Progressive Congress, APC, Chieftain, recently declared as the duly nominated Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial election in 2023, by a Federal High Court Sitting in Umuahia, Abia state, has urged all APC candidates in the party not to entertain any fear, as they will ride on the back of grace of God to win all elections.
The victorious Candidate, Hon. Chief Emeka Atuma, a former member of Federal House of Representatives, and now, an APC senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial zone was speaking in Umukabia, at the country Home of High Chief Ikechi Emenike, the leader APC in the state, during candidates interaction with the leader .
He assured the candidates that the grace of God will consume them to win all the positions they are vying for, adding that it is only grace that has brought him this far in his political career in life.
Atuma, who was earlier described by one of his supporters as a great fighter, bulldozer and grass roots politician, however advised candidates that winning is not a wishful thinking, but something that requires serious efforts on their own side, so that grace will do the rest for them.
“If you are afraid, don’t be afraid, the APC candidates in Abia will recover the Abia Government House, relocate it, and develop it in this their rescue mission”, he said
Earlier, the Deputy governorship Candidate, Rev. Gloria Akara congratulated Atuma for his victory, stating that his victory is for all APC Candidates.
“As we have started winning, we shall continue to win until we get into the Government House”, she said.
She charged candidates that this is the time to go to work in their various wards and LGAs, adding that as they continue working, they should also be reviewing their activities.
It could be recalled that on October 4th, a Federal High Court, sitting in Umuahia, presided over by Justice Evelyn Anyadike declared Atuma as the duly nominated Senatorial Candidate of the party in 2023 elections in a long awaited landmark judgment.
The judgment came as a result of suit filed by his opponent, Hon. Chief Sam Onuigbo , who laid claim to the same position as the authentic winner of APC primaries for Abia central senatorial election, and approached the federal high court for determination.
Delivering the judgment, Anyadike said that a man who could not provide evidence of his alleged victory could approach the court for inordinate expectations.
He described Onuigbo’s originating summons as “a fallen packs of card that was dead on arrival” and advised politicians like him to be true to their ambitions and respectful to their party constitution. END
